Islamic Education

 

Our Objectives

  • To establish, provide and maintain facilities needed for purpose of worship (Mosque) imparting education (Madrassa) and charitable services (Soup kitchens).
  • To train the community members through the establishment of various educational programmes.
  • To receive, collect and accept grants, aids, donations, fees, rentals, legacies, endowments, and to use the funds for carrying out the objectives of the centre.
  • To assist the community with social related problems and welfare.

Our Activities

Education

  • Teaching of Arabic and Islamic studies.
  • Teaching the basic of Islam to reverts.
  • Teaching of adults and the youth.
  • The center has an early childhood development center which caters for children from 3-5 years.
  • Boarding facility for male madrassa students who attend secular studies as well.

Da'wah wal-irshaad

  •  Islamic propagation.
  • Da'wah seminars.
  • Distribution of Islamic literature in various local languages.
  • Organizing lectures and spiritual programmes.
  • Educating the community in general about Islam.

 

 

 

 

 

About Us

The Al-huda Da’wah Centre is a Non Profit Organization registered in terms of the Nonprofit Organizations Act, 1997, South Africa. Our mission is to promote Islamic education, Guidance and Charitable Services.The organization was established in 2004 at Lebohang Township in Leandra, South Africa. The basis of all functions of the Al-huda Da’wah Centre is strictly the Qur’aan and Sunnah of Rasulullah [SAW], the Centre shall not be used for political purposes, violence or intolerance.  

 

 

 

 

  • To promote peace, respect and harmony regardless of religion, nationality or race. 
  • To provide the youth with opportunities and discourage substance abuse and other form of negative influences. 
  • To assist financially or in kind any Islamic humanitarian course. 
  • To encourage the co-ordination and co-operation between various groups and individuals with similar goals or interests. 

 

Welfare

  • Feeding scheme and soup kitchen.
  • Iftar Sa'im (feeding the fasting) and distributing food hampers.
  • Distribution of Qurbani meat.
  • Distributing new/used clothing.
  • General assistance (Bursary, Medical assistance, Cash etc)
